The Laboratory for Microclimates proudly present you their art- and film project at the Expo Milano 2015;
Sept 30th/Oct 4th (10:00-12:00 a.m. and 16:00-19:00 p.m.)The 'Good Food Landscape' is a micro-landscape with herb- and vegetable sprouts presented in a mobile greenhouse (Jeep) with a custom LED lighting system. With the Climate Rescue Unit we explore the best locations for Good Food Microclimates in the city of Milan by questioning visitors of the expo about weather-, spatial-, environmental- and social conditions. A special map of Milan containing locations for ideal 'Good Food Landscapes' will be presented to the Dutch consul and the municipality of Milan before the film screening ‘A Growing Exchange’; an inspiring documentary made by artists Annechien Meier and Alex Wilde (UK)in collaboration with film-maker Gert-Jan Gerlach about artistic, political, social and spatial developments in urban agriculture projects in the cities of The Hague and Glasgow.
The presentation at Expo Milano 2015 will be realised in corporation with: Expo Milan 2015, the Municipality of The Hague, Stroom The Hague, Food in the Streets, Koppert Cress and Lemnis Oreon.
